Jock Kipiliano Aipoalani, 62, of Hilo, formerly of Nanakuli, Oahu, died Oct. 8 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired adult corrections officer at Halawa Correctional Facility on Oahu and Hawaii Community Correctional Center, member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kaumana Ward, Hui Makai Motorcycle Club and Kaumana Alenaio Kumiail, life member of the Hogs, and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 18) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 6 p.m. Oahu visitation 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 20) at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary Makai Chapel. Memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Casual attire; no loose flowers, but lei welcome. Survived by wife, Mercedes “Penny” Aipoalani of Hilo; daughters, Colleen “Kaonohi” K. (Don, Jr.) Ahuna of San Bruno, Calif., and Juby “Honey” K.L. Aipoalani of Hilo; goddaughter, Chelsea K. Raymond Earl Hanselman, 77, of Hilo died Oct. 6 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ann Arbor, Mich., he was a retired director of maintenance for Life Care Center of Hilo, Lions Club member, former volunteer firefighter in Whitmore Lake, Mich., with the Northfield Fire Department, and U.S. Air Force veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 18) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by sons, George (Glenna) Hanselman and Shane (Alisa) Hanselman of Hilo; daughter, Raeana Victorino of Hilo; sister, Ginny Hanselman of California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Nancy Masako Nagai, 85, of Hilo died Oct. 1 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker, member of the Honomu Henjoji Mission and Alenaio Kumiai. Services held. Survived by daughters, Allison (Robert) Cuison and Lei (Michael) Donohue of Hilo; brother, Kenneth (Estuko) Horio of Hilo; sister, Daisy (Norman) Kubuju of Sacramento, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
